"A Matter of Time"
By Michael Knapp
this cold metal freezing up against my skin
this cold metal
I'm laughing like I did once again
the sounds bring me to a place like a dream
the sounds bring
a whisper that soon changes to a scream

it's just a matter of time (and soon it will change)
it all appears to be fine (and then the changes come)
another cycle to spin (another chance to progress)
'independent from someone' (time to confess?)

what is this thought that brings you against me?
what is this thought?
cause there is nothing I can see
once, we were vapour and we were all the same
once, we were vapour
no need for hatred or to have a name

it's just a matter of time (and soon it will change)
it all appears to be fine (and then the changes come)
another cycle to spin (another chance to progress)
'independent from someone' (time to confess?)

where is the Peace cause we're always at war
where is the Peace?
can't live together? (and) who's keeping score?
life is demanding it's own contradiction
life is demanding
it wants freedom from it's own isolation

it's just a matter of time (and soon it will change)
it all appears to be fine (and then the changes come)
another cycle to spin (another chance to progress)
'independent from someone' (time to confess?)
